When to Wear

When I came back from Brazil to Toronto in February with my new little kitten, I wanted to dress comfortably, as I had a very long flight ahead. I have never been able to find a suitable travel outfit in the past. For me, an ideal travel outfit must be bathroom friendly (ie. no pants dragging on the floor), security friendly (ie. no metals), warm and cozy, yet fresh, comfortable, soft and stylish. Pockets are also a huge plus. So I got the chance to 'test drive' the Passaro dress, and it was the very first time I felt so effortlessly well-dressed while travelling. This is not to say that this is a travel dress, only that it's versatile, unique, and feels wonderful.

Perfect for: date nights, dinner parties, formal weddings, strolls through the farmer's market and long flights.

Viva Collection

Viva is the opening project from Atelier Oficio.

I created this collection during my last visit home to Brazil, where, looking through my old notebooks and clothing from my past, I found a very special dress I designed and made when I was just 18. The Passaro dress - the flagship item in the Viva Collection - is a reimagining of that charming 70s inspired dress I made so many years ago. It's timeless, versatile, rather unique and feels simply wonderful to wear.
